The Fillmore digital arts curriculum
is designed to teach students problem-solving and critical thinking skills by using computer technology to express creative concepts.The Fillmore digital arts lab is equipped with state of the art Apple 20" Intel Core 2 Duo iMac's equipped with iSight camera's.
Students in grades 3-6 are introduced to the Macintosh environment first, learning to create, open, and save files correctly.
The digital arts instructor uses Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, Photo Booth, iTunes, Garage Band, QuarkXpress, GIFBuilder, Morph and other applications to teach students drawing, image manipulation, animation, movie making, and digital photography.
