| Students studied pictures and examples of Kente cloth woven by the Ashanti people of Ghana, West Africa. Traditionally the cloths are worn over the shoulders of men from Ghana. Students explored the concepts of repeating and non-repeating patterns, and used the Kente cloth as inspiration for their own designs using oil pastel and paper. |
