| Concept and Objective:
Students created a composition using different materials. At the same time they experimented with the
visual-art concept of balance using repetition of lines, colors, shapes, and objects. |
| Media:
Mixed media---oil pastels, newspaper, scissors, foam cut-outs, thread, glue sticks and watercolors on paper. |
| RUBRIC: Students were to use a specific number of colors, lines and cut-outs, and place them on the paper, demonstrating a sense of balance in their work. |
